To find local technical or trade classes search the internet or look in a phone book. Ask to make an appointment with an advisor to discuss what is required to be admitted into that university and then what courses you will need to pass in order to graduate. You can also ask how much financial aid is given each year to help their students get the education they need without going broke. If you have decided on a career path for yourself, such as in a certain school district or government job, ask to speak to the human resources department and ask what they require in order for applicants to be considered for a position. Then, match the requirements with the vocational training a local secondary school offers. Public and private colleges will offer classes at different tuition rates.
